What Florida homeschooling actually requires

We help you with each one. Section 1002.41, F.S.

  1. 1Send a Notice of Intent to the district within 30 days of starting.
  2. 2Maintain a portfolio: log of activities, writings, worksheets, creative materials.
  3. 3Make the portfolio available for inspection on 15-day notice.
  4. 4Submit an Annual Evaluation by the anniversary of your Notice of Intent.
  5. 5Preserve each year's portfolio for two years.
  6. 6Submit a Notice of Termination upon completion or change of residence.

Annual Evaluation

$50 / student

Portfolio review by a certified teacher with the completed county form. We'll confirm whether you need the regular or high-school-completion evaluation when you book.

Official Transcript

$50 / school year

We meet with you, organize courses and credits, and prepare your official high school transcript (course names, codes, weighted/unweighted GPA, credits).

Report Card

$50

Full academic year report card with narrative commentary about the student.

How to Start Homeschooling

One-on-one consultation walking you through Florida laws, curriculum, evaluations, scholarships.

Homeschool in High School

$70 / 1 hour

Graduation requirements, transcripts, dual enrollment, scholarships, community-service hours.
